Extension of the Restrictive Covenants (Deed Restrictions)
The Restrictive Covenants which cover your property in the Rivermont Subdivision will expire on June 01, 2018 unless extended for a ten year period by a majority vote of the property owners. The Restrictive Covenants protect your property values by providing specific architectural controls, guidance and use of the common areas and limitations on the use of lot(s) within the subdivision. Without restrictive covenants in place, each owner would be able to make use of his/her lot(s) without regard to the effect such use has on the property value of other lots within the subdivision and there would no longer be funds available to maintain the parks and common areas. There are no changes or modifications; these are the same Restrictive Covenants that were in place when you purchased your lot(s). The record owner of each lot has a vote, either in person or by mailing in your ballot. Copies of the Restrictive Covenants are available from the RPOA office or on the website rivermontinfo.com. The office will be open on Saturday, March 31, 2007 from 8 am to 2 pm if you want to drop off your ballot. If you have any questions, please leave a message with the RPOA office manager at 830-885-4587 or by email at rpoa@gvtc.com and a board member will contact you. |
